Overview about the Initiative
Women Dev Projects is an initiative that aims at developing pro bono and commercial technology projects, enabling the application of knowledge gained from the community's study groups and meetups.
In pro bono projects, the team is composed of women who are starting out in the field of technology and looking to gain professional experience. They go through a 2-month front-end bootcamp, taught by volunteer professionals, preparing them to develop websites for NGOs in need of such assistance.

Sketch
I sketched out the new site, based on user research and a better understanding of the initiative's needs.

Low Fidelity Prototype
A website featuring detailed information about the initiative, projects, services, team, and results achieved in the community, ensuring users can make donations confidently, quickly, and easily.

The donations page has been carefully designed to ensure a sustainable initiative in your pro-bono projects, benefiting the team composed of facilitators, mentors, developers and design.
To achieve this goal, we have created three donation categories with different amounts, corresponding to the 3-month period, which is the duration of the program.
Donation for workshop facilitators: $25
Donation for project mentors: $35
Donation for developer/design fellowship $50
Usability Study:
Study Type: Unmoderated usability study | Location: Remote | Participants: 5 | Length: 10 - 15 min
Usability Study Findings:
1
Donate conclude page, don’t have a back button, was difficult to back home
2
I didn’t understand that $25 Help us Tech in workshops, it seemed like I would be paying so that I could help teach in workshops. Not that I would be helping to fund workshops.
3
I thought the letters in the description of the donation were too small.
4
all forms of payments were not available for donation frequency, monthly and one time
